It's an okay option near Rockville station, but there are plenty of better restaurants in the Town Square.

Would not go back. Waited too long for huevos rancheros and fried yuca. They overcharged me had to get refunded 2$. Didn't give me a fork and knife. Worst huevos rancheros I've ever had and it isn't even a hard dish to make. Avoid this place.

Horrible tasteless food. Waitress was nice. Chicken and salmon were disgusting. Even water tasted weird. Just on way back from glenstone museum.

One of my main spots to grab some food. awesome location, well organised, and very good service. I highly recommend them!

The very best pupusas in Montgomery County!! Service is quick and friendly. And I got a free hug. I'll definitely be back.

Pretty good food, ok prices, a bit grimey atmosphere. I was getting my car fixed across the street and it's a good spot to eat and kill time.

I came here one day after the station manager at Rockville station didn't let me use the bathroom but I had to buy something to use the bathroom here but I am sure glad I did I loved the steak and chicken tacos and I've been a fee more times since that happened !

I love Marie the cook she friendly and kind I try to get ther every Sunday before Church and get Sausage egg and cheese bagels I can see that she put her love in cooking I don't know what souce she use on her sandwiches but it's OFF THE CHAIN I can eat this every day ❤❤❤💯

The staff was very friendly. The food tasted amazing and it didn’t have a greasy or oily feeling like other latino food places. The wait time to be seated was nothing and the wait time for the food was quick. The layout/aesthetic of the restaurant has many culturally significant decorations, so if you want an authentic restaurant for both food and representation, this is a great place

This is a hidden gem by the Rockville Metro! They have affordable/delicious wood fired Latin food! They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. I had the Sizzling Fajita Mix, highly recommended. It comes with chicken and steak.

The food used to be good but not anymore

Cute small restaurant with an authentic Latin feel, and authentic Latin flavors to match. I had the ceviche, guacamole & chips from the tapas menu. I added a few beef empanadas and a coffee, and my bill came out to a surprisingly modest $18! The staff is friendly and invited me I. When I intended to just stop and get a coffee. I am glad I ate a quick bite, and I intend to eat here again if I am in Rockville. Fresh, delicious Latin cuisine prepared by kind staff who clearly want you to have what they would serve their own families. Well done!

Nice mom and pop authentic Latin/Mexican restaurant that uses a wood fire grill to make most of their food. Not everything on there menu is always available but the stuff that was, was all very tasty.

Caught a wiff of the wood-fired cooking while leaving the Rockville metro and knew we had to go. Authentic cuisine and incredibly friendly staff. 10/10!

The worst place ever, the bandeja paisa is a Joke, as you can see in the picture the chicharron (pork skin) is the smallest tiny little piece of all, arepas here are not arepas like at all... the rice and bean tastes old and they spell Colombia in the menu Columbia, come on, we even saw a rat coming out of the back of the restaurant when we were leaving, never coming back..

Great value and tasty food - got the pabellon criollo and the paella de pollo, both delicious. Service was quick and friendly as well.

I was pleasantly surprised to see chicken being grilled on spits over a wood fire. They were very friendly, like I was a friend in their home. The place is cozy. I had a steak burrito with black bean and rice. I could taste that delicious natural smoke in the meat.

I was invited by a friend to eat at al carbon today. I ordered my drink and food. To my surprise trying to enjoy my drink I found a roach inside my drink! This is a health hazard! Who knows how long it been sitting in the juice mix and was served to me. All the server did is show the coworker and throws it in the trash without saying a thing. we returned the food and left the restaurant. Observe your food before putting it in your mouth. No one not even the manager or the owner bother to come to our table and apologize to us for the inconvenience. The only good thing out of this was I didn't have to pay for the drink and left. Never again going back to this place again! I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!

I always pass by this on my way to work but never went it. Now I'm kicking myself for not having gone in sooner. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad and they were very generous with the chicken. The bf ordered the three tacos that came a ceviche, chicken and beef taco. All the meats were tender and was topped with a yummy green sauce that made the dish.The atmosphere was a little dark on the inside but there is a cute outdoor seating seating patio. All in all, food 5/5, price 5/5 atmosphere 4/5.Will definitely be stopping by this place more often on my way back from work.

I had a bad experience my sandwich was not on the right bread and i say light on the cheese they put too much and the cashier was on the phone the whole time poor customer service

Grilled steak was ok, the chicken arepas weren't good, they do grill food with wood. I don't recommend it and I'm not coming back to eat there.

Went with my family for lunch. Do not come here unless you want to waste your money. The rice was mushy and hard at the same time. Beans and tortillas taste very old. Pupusas were terrible, I have never seen pupusas with whole beans in them. Don't do it!

Great and peacefully place to eat. Ordered la Bandeja paisa colombiana and loved it. Definitely this is the spot when I'm in the area

While it isnt the prettiest inside, the food is really good! I was totally surprised by the Bandeja Paisa. The carne asada was so tender and had great flavor. And so much food for the price! It didn't hurt that the staff were super nice and really helpful. Will totally go back!

Bought pupusas the other day and their typical breakfast. Amazing! The atmosphere of the restaurant is homely and cosy. The pupusas were so good. I'm definitely making this place a regular

Watch you check. They don't respect their customers and will add on to your check unless you call them on it. I won't be back because if they are not honest with the check I wonder about the quality of the food.

Great Ma'n'Pa place! Food tastes amazing, you can tell that they prepare it with love...I had the seafood Paella: mussels, oysters ...and shrimp were fresh. The rice was cooked correctly (with the seafood juice instead of boiling plain water).Definitely recommend!

Good hispanic food cooked with charcoal but have much flavor to it, they sell a Colombian Bandeja Paisa, that is good, but for a Colombian could be disappointing.
